Last episode of Railgun, Uiharu and the new girl were stuck in a violent poltergeist attack, but were saved by the chief of the Mars unit. I didn't really feel this episode as much as I probably would have liked, but this episode seemed to serve the purpose of throwing out all the pieces onto the board to get ready for the story.
Kuroko begins to question the new girl and looks up her background information and believes the new girl might actually be the culprit behind the earthquakes. Because under extreme circumstances the new girl's power can succeed her normal power level.
Back at Uiharu's room, Uiharu discovers the importance of the new girl's amulet and realizes its importance to her. Uiharu explains to the new girl how she will do whatever she can to help the new girl. The new girl's spirits are boasted by Uiharu, and explains how she would like to change.
The two of them go to a park and fall victim to another poltergeist attack. The two are unharmed, but a love of people in the park were injured some even critically hurt. Kuroko tries to explain to Uiharu that the new girl might be the cause of everything, but Uiharu strongly refuses to believe it.
Uiharu is incredibly mad with Kuroko and ends up ignoring her. The chief of the MARs unit tries to take the the new girl and get her tested. Uiharu strongly objects, but is persuaded because it is the only way for the new girl to prove herself innocent.
They wait for her test results and the new girl wakes up. The new girl doesn't remember anything, and finds her amulet is missing. Uiharu was holding onto the amulet and gives it to her and they finally discover what the amulet held, a picture of her friend.
The girl appeared in an early episode with the whole "Level Upper" arc. The new girl explains how she is a "Child Error" and the episode ends.
Final Opinions: The episode in itself wasn't bad, I just kinda demand my Uiharu time. I do look forward to how the arc will expand because the arcs in this series are pretty solid, so I can only hope for good things.

But what is this?! Akihisa isn't able to summon?! turns out someone broke a cord in the summoning system and now all the summons are going ape shit. Everyone's summons are a bit off and look very different. Himeji's looks like Morrigan...
Minori's looks like Lilith...
And one more bonus one...
Akihisa and everyone mobilize to make a plan to fix the summoning machine. Voyeur straps on a camera to Akihisa's summoning monster so they can find out what is going on. As Akihisa's summoning monster runs around it gets beat the hell out of by Yuuji and Voyeur's summoning monster.
Everyone realizes Akihisa's summoning monster isn't strong enough, so they power it up by making him take a crap ton of low grade problems. Akihisa eventually ends up maxing out his stats and he prepares for his second attack.
Akihisa manages to beat Yuuji and Voyeur's summonig monster, however another even trouble some threat awaits for them. Himeji and Minori's summoning monster.
Akihisa gets pretty destroyed,  I mean seriously just look at that picture and you tell me how you would handle that. But, luckily Minori's lesbian friend comes in and pulls Minori's summoning monster away and Himeji makes her self bomb a test to drop her summoning monsters level down to zero. Nice save for everyone, too bad everyone ends up taking extra lessons in the end.

The Rundown: It has been one month since Togame and Shichika(Yes! I know his name now) have acquired their first super sword and are sent off to obtain their second super katana. As the two travel, A lot of silly things occur in their travels that really depicts the characters personalities.

Shichika considers his opponent to be his first actual adversary. Shichika suffers from a lack of combat experience and isn't sure if he should be using full force or not. Anyhoo, he does defeat the swordsman and the sword is acquired. Shichika refuses to actually see the blade of the 2nd sword because he was unable to "see it" in battle. A very strong indicator of his lack of knowledge in combat and respect for fighting.
Final Opinions: What can I say, I already pulsr approved this episode earlier. After writing about this episode, I've beginning to see how their is a bit of a darker undertone for this series. It is truly impressive because this anime is slightly different than most because the people they fight are actually dieing. So, I look forward to more episodes to see how the characters develop and I just really like Togame's legs.
