Mayoi Neko Overrun! EP02

Who is in it?

Kiriya Nozomi is played by Taketatsu Ayane. Ayane is a really new voice actress and has only been in a handful of roles. Looks to me though she might be on her path to becoming very popular. She plays the role of Ako from Kiss X Sis and she was  Miharu from Idiots, Tests, and Summoning Monsters. Personally, from what I have seen, Ayane is a very capable voice actress and I really did enjoy her as Ako in the Kiss X Sis OVAs.

So what happened?

The episode starts off with Takumi and Fumino going to school. Where nothing really happens except for Fumino getting her Tsundere on. When they arrive at school we are blessed with some pretty silly faces and a good amount of fan service. Also, the wind gods decide to blow up Fumino's panties quite an interesting moment. Anyways, they go to work after school.

Ah, what a surprise, they discover Nozomi has just gotten out of the shower (portrait picture). Nozomi begins to think she is intruding on them and tries to leave. Fumino being the kind soul that she is stops her and tells her to stay.

Nozomi gets some cooking lessons from Takumi and it turns out Nozomi is actually a very fast learner and very talented at it. Takumi's sister even decides to put her in charge of the cake making because Nozomi seems to have some prowess when it comes to cake baking.

The next day Takumi and Fumino find out, with the help of Chise, Nozomi is going to their school. Nozomi is apparently blessed with some "god hand"  or,if you have seen Yakitate Japan!, "solar hands" and when she gives Chise a little bit of a ruffle on her head she falls down in enjoyment. Also, after school Chise gathers everyone and wants to form a special group with everyone. Sadly, everyone had other plans and Chise is left alone (of course she makes humerous cute faces as they leave).

When they arrive at the cafe, Otome left to go save a country. Fumino does not approve of Takumi being alone with Nozomi and, you know what Fumino does about it? she leaves. I don't know if that really made sense but yeah, she leaves. Takumi is left stranded dealing with a damn near naked Nozomi and while he battles a storm in his pants...

A huge storm hit their town and the only thing the two can do is wait it out. However, Takumi receives a call and to his surprise Fumino is outside and drenched from the rain. And with that scene the episode ends.

Final Remarks:

I don't really know too much about Mayoi Neko Overrun! and I don't know how much of a story I can really expect from it but, I definitely find it to be a cute series. Chise, Fumino, Nozomi are very intriguing and I really do like them. However, I really feel that this series isn't going to be very deep or anything. And that'll be a shame because the characters they have in this series seem to be very interesting. Well, it is only episode 02, I'll see how it evolves.
